Bobusang
An online board game where you trade goods as a Joseon-era peddler and compete with friends.
What is Bobusang?
Bobusang is a 2–4 player online board game where you become a travelling peddler in a Joseon-era market. Collect materials like silk, salt and herbs, buy goods from the market, and watch each purchase make the next one cheaper.
No install or sign-up: create a room in your browser, send the link, and play together. A game takes about 20–30 minutes, and an optional turn timer keeps things quick.
Rules
- On your turn, do one thing: take 3 different materials, or 2 of the same kind if 4 or more remain.
- Spend materials to buy a good from the market or from your reserved cards. Higher tiers cost more and score more.
- Reserve up to 3 cards; each reservation gives you a coin that works as any material.
- Owned goods discount matching materials by 1. Meet a special guest's condition and they visit for 3 points.
- When someone reaches 15 points, finish the round; the highest score wins. You can hold up to 10 materials.
Tips
- Early on, buy cheap tier-1 goods for discounts; trading speeds up a lot by mid-game.
- Reserve a card your opponent is clearly aiming for to block them.
- Check the special guests early and focus on two or three materials.
