Damjang
A 2-player online board game: build walls in a palace garden and reach the far side first.
What is Damjang?
Damjang is a 2-player online strategy board game set in a Joseon palace garden. Race your piece to the far row of a 9×9 garden first, and build walls to force your opponent the long way around.
Rules take a minute; deciding when to move and when to build is where the depth lies. Create a room, send the link, and play right away.
Rules
- On your turn, move one step or place one wall.
- Walls are two cells long; each player has 10. Walls cannot overlap or cross.
- You can never fully block a path; both players must always have a route.
- Facing the opponent's piece, you may jump over it, or step diagonally if the space behind is blocked.
- Reach any cell of the far row first to win.
Tips
- Save walls for the late game.
- Find spots where one wall adds many steps to your opponent's path.
- Check your own route before placing a wall.
